In the making of CAPTURING BIGFOOT, we spent a great deal of time in the company of a man who has been dead for over fifty years, but came away with a theory we did not expect: Roger Patterson was not simply the man who filmed a Bigfoot, he was a man who built a brand, monetized a passion, and turned his critics into content decades before that had a name. He was, in the language of our own moment, an influencer. He simply had the bad luck of being sixty years too early.
